The Music in You
I have always loved music and find myself tapping to the beat whenever a song is played. There is something though about the beat of the African drum that connects with me at soul level. It has a way of awakening the senses and shifting my vibration to a higher level. I just looooove the drum. The same with the Jamaican steel drums I just think they are completely awesome. Try just sitting still when you hear the beat of a drum. Press play on the video below and see how it affects your vibration. I bet you can’t help but to tap your foot. You will feel lighter and happier.
I have decided that I am going to make this one of my things to do in 2012. I am going to learn to play the djembe. I am so excited about learning something new. A new adventure in my life. There are many ways to raise your energy and vibration to heal and balance the body, mind and spirit. Music is a great way. I have found a great website where I will get some resources to learn.

Think and Grow Rich is an amazing book that should be on everyone’s book shelf, so I am going to give you a copy FREE. In my opinion this book should be on the reading list in every school of the world. I was first introduced to it many many years ago but never really was interested in reading it until a few years ago when my life was turned upside down. It was at this time when I really started looking at all I had learned with my healing and energy work. I started searching for inormation on life and how the Univeral Laws play such a major part in our journey’s This is not a book just to be read and discarded but a manual to be studied and picked up every week. I keep going back to this book over and over again.

5 Tips To Online Success
Success starts with you and ends with you, please understand this before you look to start a business, only you can make or break it. You are responsible for your life. Ok, you want to make money so you have come online to search for an opportunity. Maybe you have lost your job or just want to make an additional income to help in hard times, many people are feeling the pinch and coming online to see how they can make some extra income without spending too much. Ok so here are my 5 tips to help you get going…
1. Decide before you spend any money joining business opportunities what it is you are passionate about. It is always easier to promote something you know about. Maybe if you are looking for a company then decide based on what interests you or something that you already use, DO NOT join the first business you come across. They all look wonderful so it is very easy to get bombarded quickly and make a decision based on emotion not logic, then before you know it the last of your your savings are gone because you jumped too soon into something that really wasn’t the right choice for you. Check out any business and look into any opportunity before making any decisions.
2.Get yourself a blog, every successful entrepreneur has a blog that brands themself. Blogging is the one way to show yourself and your talents to the world. Who you are is what people want to see and a blog is one of the best ways to do that. I will go more into blogging tomorrow and give you the steps to starting a blog as well as some do’s and don’ts.
3. Learn how to market your blog, yourself and your brand. This is the one fatal mistake that many people make when they first start looking into making money and online marketing. WE FAIL BECAUSE WE DON”T INVEST IN EDUCATING OURSELVES. This is so very important. Educating ourselves in learning the skills needed to be successful is the one thing we must do. If you learn this early on then you will avoid many of the pitfalls that most people fall into very when they start a business online.
4. Be yourself, you are unique and there is nobody like you therefore what you have to give the world is something that only you can offer. Be the amazing and wonderful person that you came here to be. Find your place in the world and allow your light to shine and share your gifts with the world.
5.You must change your mindset. Too many people fail before they begin because they don’t have belief in themselves. YOU CAN DO IT but you must never give up. Too many people give up before they have even given themselves a chance to succeed. Determination, willpower and faith will be needed for you to SUCCEED.

Ok so yesterday was my birthday, I had a great day with amazingly thoughtful presents from my family and friends. Birthdays are a time where we reflect on life and how it has travelled so far. A little like new year where you set your goals for the coming year (or not as it is for many). I think goal setting is something you tend to do more as you get older and realize how quickly time flies. You can’t wait to get to 21 but the years just fly past after that and before you know it you are looking towards the 21st of your own children.
Anyway I just wanted to share this picture with you to make you think about life a little and maybe setting some goals of your own and learn to dream big and go for what you want in life.
Why do Vision Boards Work
Vision Boards are personal development tools that have recently been revived and brought to the attention of the public through magazines, internet articles and high profile TV shows. Many of you may be interested in making a vision board, but feel wary about actually doing it because you don’t fully understand why vision boards work. So how do they work?
Vision Boards work because they are based on the “law of attraction” which has assisted many people in accomplishing some some very great things. The law of attraction is based upon the combined outcome of three specific principles; Ask, Believe and then Receive. By asking the Universe or Higher Power, (depending on what you believe), and then believing that it is true and real, you will then receive what you have asked for. By focusing your mind with positive thoughts about a goal you may have or a dream that you want for yourself, then imaging yourself doing those things via images, you will then accomplish them as you are lead in the right direction to your goal or dream. This all works because you are able to access your subconscious mind which holds the key to your intuition and belief that you can have what you want.
Have you ever heard the phrase “money attracts money”? Well, this is the same for other things; positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative. Within ourselves, we all have issues, memories or problems that have enabled us to carry negative emotions around for years. Feelings of unrest, poor personal image and a feeling of not being good enough or deserving good things are the most common. Because of these negative thoughts we often, without realizing it, are sabotaging our chances at happiness, wealth and good fortune. How many times have you said to yourself “Now why did I just do that?” It is because of these negative thoughts kept in your subconscious mind. By opening up your mind and changing these thoughts into positive ones, great changes can be made and success can be found. Vision Boards are perfect for this task, as they are very basic, but very powerful in their effect on our lives and in our minds. Anyone can make one and everyone can benefit from one.
Vision Boards use images, sounds, smells and positive words to focus our minds and change these negative thoughts into positive ones. Accepting that this is a task that will not happen overnight is important, as real change takes time. Do not be disappointed after a short time if nothing happens, as this will only feed back into the negative that you have been trying so hard to eradicate from your mind. Keeping faith and belief will carry you through, making sure that your positive thoughts attract the positive things you are trying to achieve. Vision Boards work!! Millions of people can back that up and have found the inner self confidence to reach for more. You can do it, too. You deserve it.

How to Create a Vision Board
I personally have been using a vision board for a couple of years now and I can tell you honestly that they do work. I have achieved so much more since making one and using it.
Because you have everything right in front of you to look means that it is something you continually think about and that is the start of belief the more you see it the more you believe. Once you start seeing yourself achieving the pictures on your board then it becomes even more powerful. Then the momentum starts to happen and before long life is as you pictured it.
So you want to make your own vision board. well here you go. Create your own successful and powerful vision board that will allow you to channel your positive energy into the board making the effect much stronger on your life involving you goal or dream for yourself in life.
You really have to be totally honest with yourself about what your dream or goal is. We all have dreams that seem impossible but with determination and a good vision board they really can be accomplished. You wouldn’t have them if they weren’t possible. Start looking for pictures that stand out to you and represent your goals.Some you will see and they will grab you with a definite “yes”, whereas others you may feel attracted to with a “buzzing” feeling in the pit of your stomach. Not every image that you collect will end up on your board, but until you get them all together to make the vision board you will not know for sure.
You can make your vision board from a piece of poster board, a small canvas or anything else of a similar fashion. Along the way you may have noticed that certain colors will have attracted your eye, so include them on the board. You may want to paint your board first in a color that has affected you, or you may want to keep it plain. If you have chosen to paint, wait until the paint dries, and then start placing the images onto the board. Move them around into different areas until you are happy with the final overall image. You may want to add inspirational words or “power words”, as they are also known, which reflect your ultimate goal or dream and have meaning to you. These words can further be used in a “mantra” which you say to yourself as you meditate or visualize your goal.
When everything is exactly how you want it, glue it all down to keep it in place. You may want to put a clear coat of glue over the whole board, to prevent any of the images from becoming loose. The choice is up to you, depending on where you intend to place it.
Your vision board is now complete. Making a vision board is only a key part in the whole process of using the law of attraction to fulfill your dreams and desires. Having determination, belief and patience are also exceptionally important key parts, as without them, the vision board would just be a collage. Regular visualization, meditation, affirmations and positive thinking are also very important. Each of these needs to be used every day, in conjunction with the actual vision board, to enable your success.
Vision boards of late can also be created using software programs which help you to create the right vision board for you, as well as make copies of the finished product so that you can carry it with you wherever you go. Download it onto your laptop or any other portable gadget so it is available to use when you are away from home.

The Truth Hurts
That is exactly right THE TRUTH HURTS, so are you ready to hear and see what is really going on in the world. Many people know the cruelty and pain we inflict on innocent animals, yet choose to turn the other cheek and pretend all is well. We are in a time of awakening and we all need to see what is really going on. Earthlings is a documentary that has taken me two days to watch because it was so raw and heartwrentching to watch.
I have been aware of many cruel acts in our animal industry and campaigned for the welfare of animals for many years now, yet Some of what I saw was new to me and just sent chills through my body and soul. We all need to come together and make a stand animals have emotions too and they feel pain just like us, so why is it that we put them through torture, pain and cruelty for our own gain. The food we eat, clothes we wear, for our entertainment the list goes on and we just allow it to happen. Human greed and materialism has taken over the lives of the world population and it needs to stop now!
Please take the time to watch Earthlings and see if you will change your life. Maybe you will think before you buy that leather sofa or eat that steak. Animal cruelty is un-necessary and should be stopped.
